SPENCER, Margaret "Peggy" Anne (nee Jacobs) - It is with great sadness the family of Margaret "Peggy" Spencer announces her sudden passing on Sunday, April 8th, 2012, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 79th year. Loving wife of the late Donald Spencer (2010). Cherished mother of Donna Spencer, Jan Finkelstein and Douglas Spencer. Dear grandmother of Doug Jr., Lisa, Don, Steven, Brad, Erin, Brian and David. She was also a much loved great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Margaret met the love of her life, Donald Spencer, while she worked at the Sunset Drive-In Theater, and spent the next 60 years in bliss-filled marriage. A retired employee of Sears Canada, she worked for over 25 years in the Brantford Sears Catalog Department. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, on Thursday, April 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant would be greatly appreciated.
