Obituary of Robert McNeill

McNEILL, Robert Lietch At the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, March 19, 2012, age 80, Bert McNeill of Brantford, ON. Bert was born in 1931 in Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to Canada with his wife in 1956. Bert dedicated his life to helping others and worked for many years at St Joseph's Hospital in Brantford and the Willett Hospital in Paris, ON. Survived by Isobel, his loving wife of 57 years, son Rob (Jackie) and daughter, Karen. Predeceased by son Bill (Sharon). Bert is also survived by his grandchildren Rob, Steve and Ann, as well as his great-grandchildren Dominic, Ashaya, Landon, Blake and Lily. Friends and family may call at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME, 30 Nelson Street on Thursday, March 22nd from 7-9 pm and Friday March 23rd from 12-1pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 23rd at 1:00 pm. Interment at Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Lung Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
