Obituary of Gordon Tustian
TUSTIAN, Gordon Murray
Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on July 27th, 2017 in his 80th year. Son of the late Aleta Clarkson (2002) and Preston Tustian (1952) and step-father Gordon Thomson (1994). He is survived by Dave Thomson (Jung), Jacqueline Tustian-Senior (Geoff) and his sister Laurel Babinetz (the late Ed 1991) and their families. He is remembered by his cousins Bette Miller and Ione Cox as well as a number of friends. Gord was very proud to have been a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy, having served from 1955 - 1960 in Shearwater, N.S. aboard the HMCS Bonaventure. Known to some as the 'Chevelle Guy in Lynden', he spent his retirement years restoring classic Chevy muscle cars being the proud owner of "Top Rat" 1970 LS6 Chevelle & snowmobiling (only on Polaris) throughout Northern Ontario. He has now moved on to a new place to creatively instigate and give people a hard time. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St., Brantford on Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 from 7 - 9 p.m.
